Faethom

In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the UNHOLY
Self Produced
2011

In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the UNHOLY is an enchanting, spellbinding lapse into

insanity. Hailing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Faethom brings theatricality and originality in a

vein similar to King Diamond back to metal. In the Name of the Father is a concept album

based upon the characters of Victor Garcia, Mother Superior Beatriz Cruz, Ophelia the Nun,

Eterna the Witch, the Stranger, and the Silent Nuns. Musicians on the album are Mariela

Muerte on vocals, and keyboards, and David Diacrono on guitars, bass, and drum

programming. Live musicians are Mariela Muerte on vocals and keyboards, David Diacrono

on lead guitars, Federico Vidal on bass, Hermes Reyes on drums and Fabian Lopez on

rhythm guitar. Musicianship on this album is just outstanding as Mariela has no problem

switching from low growls to screams to very nice clean vocals. David is also a shredmeister

and reminds this listener alot of Ihsahn during the Emperor days! In the Name of the Father

will completely hypnotize the listener and draw them into the madness of the story-line. Track

listing for In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the UNHOLY is:

1. Exiled
2. The Letter
3. Thou Shall Follow
4. By the Lake of Sacred Eyes
5. Beware the King
6. The Accused and the Damned
7. A Promise
8. At the Witches Door
9. Live in Dread
10. Ezrahmael
11. A Lifetime of Emptiness
12. Break the Vow
13. Ophelia's Prayer
14. Lullaby for Heathen Spawn
15. Child of Mine
16. Bleakest Fate

This CD is a masterpiece in the genre of theatrical, blackened metal and I strongly suggest

you to pick this up! Everything about this album is highly professional, from the production

down to the packaging. Faethom also includes a mini-poster! I look very forward to future

ventures from this group!
